Yarning and Weaving
Yarning and Weaving is a gathering of women in our region who may have experienced Domestic and Family Violence or homelessness or who just want to yarn and weave.
In this safe space, they share stories and wisdom drawn their experiences about how to recover from the effects of family violence. Gwen Hickling, an Elder from Casino and weaving women from Brunswick Heads and Kyogle help Women Up North Housing and Bunjum Aboriginal Family Service to run the Yarning and Weaving Days.
